Branding and web for an artful video agency and their punchy film suite.
After years of growth and success, Wakefield needed a rebrand for both their corporate agency and their in-house film suite. The challenge was to create two brands that felt related yet distinct; the first with an elegant, artful tone and the second like its whimsical sidekick.
The corporate branding feels simple and intruiging, using beautiful typography and bold colour. It allows their portfolio to shine by showcasing large blocks of images from their work. A logomark was created of a rising sun, symbolizing Wakefield’s mission to awaken audiences to the passion and purpose behind their clients’ business.
Wakefield Pictures houses the same team’s film portfolio, including pieces that have participated in international film festivals. The branding conveys their fun, skillful, and personal approach to film-making through the use of colour and layered elements that create dimension.
